dc.description.abstractThe article explores the prospect of using cinema to form a collective memory of the Holocaust. Attention is focused on the example of Denmark, due to the significant number of documentaries and feature films on the issue, made in the country or partially funded by it. In the study of documentary and feature films on the Holocaust produced in Denmark, it is noted that the authors of the films focus on two key issues: the rescue of the Jewish population to Sweden in 1943 and the stay of Danish Jews in the Theresienstadt camp. The purpose of the article is to study the peculiarities of the reflection of the Holocaust in Danish cinema and to determine the specifics of the reproduction of the Holocaust in Danish cinema. The methodological basis of the study is the principles of objectivity, historicism, and systematicity, which are realized through the use of general scientific methods of analysis, synthesis, generalization, comparison, and contextual analysis. Methods of historical, cultural, and cinematic analysis are used to study the depiction of the Holocaust in Danish cinema, as well as methods of interpreting feature films and documentaries to reveal the specifics of their depiction. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the comprehensive analysis of the Holocaust in Danish cinema through a comparison of fiction and documentary films. The study reveals for the first time the specifics of cinematic comprehension of this topic in the context of cultural and social conditions in Denmark. Conclusions. The results of the study allow us to conclude that cinema is a key tool for the formation of collective memory, which not only preserves history but also influences contemporary public perception of the Holocaust. Documentary films play an important role in reconstructing events and educating, while fiction films play an important role in creating an emotional connection between the viewer and the past. Thus, cinematic works contribute not only to preserving the memory of the Holocaust, but also to fostering social responsibility and awareness of the inadmissibility of discrimination in the modern world.
dc.description.abstractУ статті досліджується перспектива використання кінематографу для формування колективної пам’яті про події Голокосту. Увага зосереджена на прикладі Данії, що обумовлено значною кількістю документальних та художніх стрічок з окресленої проблеми, знятих у країні або за її часткового фінансування. Досліджуючи документальні та художні фільми, присвячені темі Голокосту датського виробництва, відзначено, що автори стрічок зосереджують увагу на двох ключових питаннях: порятунку єврейського населення до Швеції у 1943р. та перебуванні датських євреїв у таборі Терезієнштадт. Метою статті поставлено дослідити особливості відображення подій Голокосту в датському кінематографі та визначити специфіку відтворення подій Голокосту в кінематографі Данії. Методологічною основою дослідження виступають принципи об’єктивності, історизму та системності, що реалізуються через використання загальнонаукових методів аналізу, синтезу, узагальнення, порівняння та контекстуального аналізу. Застосовано методи історико-культурного та кінематографічного аналізу для вивчення відображення Голокосту в данському кінематографі, а також методи інтерпретації художніх і документальних фільмів для розкриття специфіки їх зображення. Наукова новизна статті полягає в комплексному аналізі відображення Голокосту в данському кінематографі через порівняння художніх і документальних фільмів. Дослідження вперше розкриває специфіку кінематографічного осмислення цієї теми в контексті культурних і соціальних умов Данії. Висновки. Результати дослідження дозволяють зробити висновок, що кінематограф є ключовим інструментом формування колективної пам’яті, який не лише зберігає історію, а й впливає на сучасне суспільне сприйняття Голокосту. Документальні фільми відіграють важливу роль у реконструкції подій та освіті, тоді як художні – у створенні емоційного зв’язку між глядачем і минулим. Таким чином, кінематографічні твори сприяють не лише збереженню пам’яті про Голокост, а й вихованню суспільної відповідальності та усвідомленню неприпустимості дискримінації у сучасному світі.
