Анотація
У магістерській роботі проведений комплексний міждисциплінарний аналіз зовнішньої політики Великої Британії в контексті трансформації її імперської моделі наприкінці XIX – на початку XX ст. Дослідження уточнює природу відмови від ізоляціонізму, виявляє внутрішні суперечності британської стратегії, а також показує вплив цієї трансформації на формування нової системи міжнародних відносин. Виявлено внутрішні суперечності імперської стратегії, зокрема, конфлікти між колоніальними амбіціями та необхідністю адаптації до нових форм міжнародної взаємодії, також уточнено вплив зовнішньої політики Британії на формування архітектури міжнародних відносин, що зумовила передумови Першої світової війни.
The master's thesis provides a comprehensive interdisciplinary analysis of the foreign policy of Great Britain in the context of the transformation of its imperial model in the late 19th – early 20th centuries. The study clarifies the nature of the rejection of isolationism, reveals the internal contradictions of the British strategy, and also shows the impact of this transformation on the formation of a new system of international relations. The internal contradictions of the imperial strategy are revealed, in particular, conflicts between colonial ambitions and the need to adapt to new forms of international interaction, and the impact of Britain's foreign policy on the formation of the architecture of international relations, which determined the prerequisites of the First World War, is also clarified.
